Good to be back out and about after a few weeks lay off after my motorcycle indiscretion.
I met with members of my community on Monday 16th September along with my fellow SNP councillor Gordon Blair to discuss with members of the community improving transport links and service to Arrochar & Tarbet.
Gordon and I are on the Scottish Passenger Transport board (SPT) and I took our community’s concerns along with proposals to the SPT meeting in Glasgow today (Friday) where I discussed them with board chairman Stephen Dorain.
Gordon and I are going to follow this up with further discussions with SPT operations in the coming weeks .
Other things that I am working on are the long term litter and waste problems at the head of the Loch Long , Defibrillator appliance to be located in Succoth , street lights in the Tarbet area ,health and social care issues , speeding vehicles on Church road and various others in my ward, and council area.
More details will follow shortly.
